Guidelines and Policies for Shipping and Returns
Orders via our Web site from individual customers must be prepaid by MasterCard, VISA, Discover or American Express. Orders sent by mail can be prepaid by check or money order, as well.
Shipping and Handling
STANDARD SHIPMENTS are sent by UPS & USPS to all 50 states.
Second-day, three day, or overnight delivery is available at an extra charge, depending on the weight of the shipment. Please call for pricing.
Additional shipping charges may apply to some items and are indicated next to their price. Add this surcharge to the regular S/H charges for the remainder of the order.
When ordering for shipment to a non-US address, please select the EXP shipping method during checkout. We will email you with the actual S&H cost. Your order will be processed after you have confirmed the cost with a return email.
If any product does not satisfy your needs, it may be returned within 60 days. Special orders are not returnable. Before returning any item, call 1-800-537-2118 to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. Refunds and credits are issued for the value of the merchandise, but not for the shipping and handling fee. To receive a full refund, items must be in resellable condition and in their original box with all instructions and warranties.
When a manufacturer's restocking fee is indicated, it will be deducted from the refund. Health regulations prohibit us from accepting back any items that have been used on or in the body. This includes but is not limited to thermometers, eye-care products, ear-care products, ointments, pill-cutters, diabetic aids, bath aids, syringes, needles, urinals, manicuring aids, etc. If you are unsure about a particular product's return policy, please contact customer service at 800.537.2118 prior to opening the package. Computer software is not returnable once opened.
If an order arrives damaged, ila must be notified within 24 hours. The product and all packaging material must be retained until the matter is resolved.
Returning Factory Good As New or Refurbished Products
The same terms apply to returning these items except that we offer a 30, not 60, day return period on them.
Unless otherwise indicated, ila warranties products for 30 days. After this period, the manufacturer's warranty applies and customers need to contact the manufacturer for repair or replacement of the item. Whenever possible, ila will assist the customer with contacting the manufacturer. Please note that warranties cover defects in workmanship and material. They do not cover breakage or damage to the product resulting from customer abuse.
Taxes and Duties
ila is not responsible for any Taxes or Duties that may incur on orders that are shipped out of the U.S.
NEW YORK STATE shipments are subject to sales tax, including tax on the shipping and handling fee. If you are an organization claiming tax exemption, provide a copy of your exempt organization certification, or resale certificate.
ila is not responsible for typographical errors. Prices listed in this catalog supersede all previous catalogs. After our catalogs have been printed, manufacturers sometimes change specifications of products or discontinue them completely. We therefore reserve the right to substitute items of equal or higher value. These items are fully returnable if they do not meet with your satisfaction.M
